Swachhta Didi is going to watch the parade in Delhi

Raipur. Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao flagged off the Swachhta Didis who were going to New Delhi to watch the Republic Day Parade as special guests at Raipur’s Swami Vivekananda Airport. He extended his best wishes to the Swachhta Didis and their families for the journey. The Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs has invited 16 Swachhta Didis of Chhattisgarh and their families as special guests to witness the Republic Day celebrations in New Delhi. These Swachhta Didis will also meet Union Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Hardeep Singh Puri on January 25. At the time of departure of Swachhta Didis and their family members for New Delhi today, Urban Administration and Development Department Director Kundan Kumar, SUDA CEO Saumil Ranjan Choubey and HUDCO Regional Head Dr. Vivek Gupta were also present at Mana Airport.

Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao met the Swachhta Didis and their families going to New Delhi at the airport and extended good wishes. He said that this invitation is an honor to the work of women power engaged in making the cities of the state clean. With this special invitation from the Government of India, the entire Chhattisgarh along with our Swachhta Didis has become proud. The Union Housing and Urban Affairs Ministry appointed two from Gandai Nagar Panchayat, two from Kumhari Municipality, one from Khairagarh Municipality, three from Bilaspur Municipal Corporation and three from Rajnandgaon, Durg, Ambikapur and Korba Municipal Corporation as special guests in the Republic Day Parade. Two sanitation sisters have been invited. Along with these women, one of their family members has also been invited.

These Swachhta Didis will watch the Republic Day celebrations while on duty.

Kiran Singh, Pushpa Katre and Lakshmi Iyer of Bilaspur Municipal Corporation, Kiran Sahu and Mrs. Lakshmi Jangade of Durg Municipal Corporation, Shashi Sinha and Kusum of Ambikapur Municipal Corporation are working as Swachhta Didi on the special invitation of the Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs. Minj, Geeta Tomar and Vijay Lakshmi Tiwari of Korba Municipal Corporation, Mrs. Anita Francis and Veena Tandon of Rajnandgaon Municipal Corporation are going to New Delhi. Gayatri Devangan and Rakhi Khan of Gandai Nagar Panchayat, Shobha Chakradhari and Bimla Sahu of Kumhari Municipality and Jayshree Tamrkar of Khairagarh Municipality also left for New Delhi today to witness the Republic Day celebrations.
