Dehradun: A distressing incident has emerged from Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand, highlighting a shameful act that tarnishes the reputation of the region. A student from Sudan has been accused of raping a South African student. Both students are reportedly enrolled at a private university in Dehradun.
According to reports, the young woman is pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), while the young man is studying for a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA). The incident allegedly occurred after the woman attended a party hosted by the man, during which he is accused of raping her while she was asleep.
The young woman has filed a Zero FIR in Delhi regarding the entire incident. Following this, a case has now been registered at the Clement Town police station in Dehradun. According to the police, both students study at a private college located in Subhash Nagar. The woman is currently receiving treatment from a psychiatrist at a hospital.CO Sadar, Anil Joshi, confirmed that a case has been registered and that an investigation is underway.
