Sua dance became a medium of public awareness in rural areas

Raipur, 9 April 2025: To make Sushasan Tihar reach the masses, the Balodabazar Bhatapara district administration is vigorously running a public awareness campaign in both rural and urban areas. It includes rally, cycle rally, announcement, wall writing etc. but in the rural area, Sua dance is emerging as a powerful medium of public awareness. On Wednesday, the women self-help groups of Bihan in Kusmi village panchayat of Palari block of Baloda Bazar district brought Sushasan Tihar to the people through Suva song and dance. Traditional folk dances in Chhattisgarh include Panthi, Raut Nacha, Karma, Pandavani, Suva, Saila, Gendi etc. These dances are performed by various communities during festivals and celebrations and they reflect the rich cultural heritage of the region. Under the first phase of Sushasan Tihar, applications will be received from the people at the application receipt site in rural and urban areas from 8 April to 11 April 2025. Under the guidance of Collector Deepak Soni and the leadership of CEO District Panchayat Ms. Divya Agarwal, the Self Help Groups (Bihan) formed in the district are successfully organizing wall writings, good governance slogans, rallies, door-to-door Dastak Abhiyan at the cluster organization level, village organization level, panchayat level and publicity is being done to make the general public aware. Sushasan Tihar was launched in every panchayat by the cadre of Bihan.
