Students have to be made sensitive and full of human values ​​along with being subject experts: Technical Education Minister Parmar

Bhopal: Higher Education, Technical Education and AYUSH Minister Shri Inder Singh Parmar has said that the aim of the National Education Policy-2020 is to create the best citizens full of human values. To create the best citizens, students need an Indian vision along with human sensibilities. Students will have to develop personalities full of human values, not just subject matter experts. A system will have to be prepared for the students, which will also solve the questions of the society and also ensure traditional protection and promotion of human values ​​in the society. Minister Shri Parmar addressed a one-day discussion (QUEST) organized by the Department of Technical Education in the auditorium of Sant Shiromani Ravidas Global Skills Park in Bhopal on Tuesday.

Minister Shri Parmar said that there is a need to create curriculum to make students skilled as per the requirement of the industry and the market. We are moving towards a quality teaching method in the context of the National Education Policy-2020. The goal will be realized by moving forward with a sense of commitment in this direction. Higher Education Minister Shri Parmar said that India has been the world leader in the past and to make the present scenario glorious again, there is a need to develop personalities having Indian perspective. Shri Parmar said that India has had glorious achievements in every field and every discipline. We have to free ourselves from inferiority complex by awakening a sense of pride in India’s glorious knowledge. Indian knowledge tradition has existed for thousands of years in the field of technology and engineering as well. Today, evidence of Indian knowledge is being found in every field. Shri Parmar said that education will play an important role in realizing the concept of developed India in the centenary year of independence in 2047. To achieve this resolution, students need to be made solvers and not questioners. Shri Parmar said that the state government is working with commitment to provide quality technical education.

Secretary Technical Education Shri Raghuraj Rajendran said that investment is an important aspect for quality. Quality will be naturally ensured by the investment of the industry in the educational world. It is noteworthy that this discussion is a state level initiative started for detailed brainstorming in the direction of ensuring quality, efficiency, utility, stability and timeliness in all the technical educational institutions of the state. On this occasion, Vice Chancellor Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya Dr. Rajiv Tripathi, Chairman of Private University Regulatory Commission Mr. Bharat Sharan Singh, Commissioner Technical Education Mr. Awadhesh Sharma and CEO Global Skills Park Mr. Girish Sharma along with Vice Chancellors of various universities, their representatives, representatives of various technical educational institutions and departmental officers were present.
