Raipur – Raipur Municipal Corporation Mayor Meenal Chaubey and Commissioner Vishwadeep have instructed all zone commissioners to ensure as far as possible that there is no waterlogging inside the houses of the general public in the corporation area during rain, otherwise, a warning has been given to fix accountability and take strict action. The Mayor and Commissioner have instructed to get the marked waterlogging sites cleaned specially and to maintain special vigilance and alertness at these sites during monsoon and to get continuous monitoring done at the zone level, so that the problem of waterlogging does not become a cause of public inconvenience. The Mayor and Commissioner have instructed all zone commissioners to identify such areas of the zone where there is a problem of waterlogging and provide relief to the general public from the problem of waterlogging at all costs. The zone commissioner should inspect the waterlogged areas and ensure that the citizens get rid of the problem of waterlogging by providing adequate resources. It has been asked to stop waterlogging in all the waterlogged areas by using machines, manpower, boulders, stones and other resources. So that the people of the city can get relief. Waterlogging areas have been marked in all the zone areas, take full care there that there should be no waterlogging at that place when it rains during the rains.

Mayor Meenal Chaubey has sought information about waterlogging areas from the zones. Due to excessive rain, the mayor has directed to solve the problem of waterlogging in Laxmi Dharamkanta Transport, Koyla Basti, Vijay Nagar, Ganga Nagar, Buniyad Nagar, New Anand Nagar, Rameshwar Nagar, Sanjay Gandhi Nagar, Shiv Nagar, Naharpara area, Brahmadeyi Para, lower part of Sanyasipara, Shaheed Nagar, Diksha Nagar, Tulsi Nagar, in front of Sai Mandir, Adarsh ​​Nagar, Bamleshwari Nagar area of ​​Zone 1.

In the same sequence, adequate resources have been asked to be deployed to deal with the problem of waterlogging in Zone 2’s Ghaspara Valmiki Nagar, Jayshree Ram Nagar, Durga Nagar, Jhajhapara, Manjhipara, Devendra Nagar Sector 2.3, Narmadapara, Patri Line, Fafadeep Kalyan Hospital, Jagriti Nagar New Kalinga Nagar, Devendra Nagar Police Station, Khalsa School, Officer Colony, Saraswati School Gujarati School, BJP Office, Zone 3’s Anupam Nagar, Shakti Nagar, Jagannath Nagar, Gandhi Nagar, Anuvrat Residency, Anand Nagar, Canal Road Drain, Teen Muh Drain area, Zone 4’s Nurani Chowk Gali No. 1, 2, 3 Armaan Drain, near Ganesh Temple and Patang Gali, Satti Bazaar Gadda Line, Gauri Shankar Temple near Akashvani, Satpathi Chowk, Dr. Solanki Gali, Dayanand Nagar Katora Talab area. Zone 5’s near Pandit Sakharam Dubey School, Millennium Chowk, Pankaj Garden, Professor Colony, Dabri Para and other waterlogging areas under Zone 5, Zone 6’s behind Devi Laxmi Hospital, MLA Rest House, Chaurasia Colony, Dharam Nagar, Aachi Talab, Parshuram Nagar and other areas, Zone 7’s Dumra Talab, Vipra College area, Gokul Nagar, Gopal Nagar, Ramkund Basti, Geeta Nagar, Rakhi Nagar and other areas, Zone 8’s Atal Awas Adarsh ​​Chowk, Gopal Pandey Dhaanch Bhawan, Satyam Vihar, Sarona, Chandandih near Salasar Greens, Zone 9’s Daya Nagar, Chandi Nagar, Sai Nagar, Zone 10’s Daya Nagar, Chandi Nagar, Sai Nagar area near Yehua Church, Zone 10’s Zone Commissioner has been instructed to ensure relief to the residents of the area from the problem of possible waterlogging by using resources.
