Raipur 4 January 2024: Action was seen from Raipur to Bijapur throughout the day on the murder of Bijapur journalist Mukesh Chandrakar. On one hand, while the accused was arrested in Bijapur, on the other hand, a bulldozer was run on the illegal construction of the contractor accused of murder. At the same time, politics remained heated in Raipur in this matter. The Home Minister made a very serious allegation on the Congress in this matter, while the Chief Minister has posted updated information about the incident on his social media handle.
The Chief Minister has posted on his social media handle and written that in the murder case, our government has constituted an 11-member Special Investigation Team (SIT) under the leadership of Additional Superintendent of Police, IPS Mayank Gurjar for complete investigation of the case. The forensic team is also investigating the incident on the basis of scientific and technical evidence. Three accused in this case have been arrested. Along with this, the illegal construction done by the accused has also been demolished. Such an incident is highly condemnable and to prevent its recurrence, we have given instructions to give the harshest punishment to the accused.
