Strength returned in the stock market, Sensex on high

The domestic stock market returned to strength on the second trading day of the week and was seen trading in the green. Earlier on Monday, after a volatile session, the major benchmark indices closed flat. On Tuesday, in early trade, the Sensex crossed 80100 with a gain of points. On the other hand, the Nifty crossed 24350. At 9.30 am, the BSE Sensex of 30 shares was seen trading at 80,126.41 with a gain of 178.97 (0.22%) points. On the other hand, the Nifty also rose 46.41 (0.19%) points to reach 24,366.95. In early trade, LT Foods shares strengthened by 11% while Maruti Suzuki shares jumped 3%.
