State government policies are simple and favourable for agriculture based industries: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said in the ‘Dialogue with Food Processing Entrepreneurs’ program at ‘Agriculture Industry Conclave-2025’ organized in Sitamau of Mandsaur district that happy farmers and advanced agriculture are the identity of Madhya Pradesh. While food processing will give industries a chance to move forward, farmers will also prosper economically. This is also the resolution of the state government operating under the leadership and guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Our government is promoting entrepreneurs by creating simple and favorable policies for agriculture based industries. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that today 11 industrial units costing Rs 3812 crore have been inaugurated and Bhoomi Pujan has been done. This will create 6850 employment opportunities at the local level. Discussed with investors on the possibilities of agriculture related industries. Along with this, letters of interest have also been provided to investors setting up new industries in Neemuch-Mandsaur district.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the doors of the government are always open for investors. The government is working to remove all obstacles in the way of investors. We are all committed to the progress of the state. The government stands with the investors for every possible support. The Chief Minister said that investment proposals worth Rs 30 lakh crore have been received in the horticulture sector at the Bhopal Global Investors Summit. He said that along with the facilities of electricity, water and better roads, industrial investment promotion policies are available in Madhya Pradesh. The state has a better environment for industrial investment. He said that Madhya Pradesh has also left America behind in the production of wheat per bigha. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the double engine government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is making every effort to increase employment opportunities. He said that earlier such events were held only in big cities, but now we have decided to organize investors summit at division and district level also and it has started today from Mandsaur district. The state government is providing investment opportunities to all types of investors equally.

Chief Secretary Anurag Jain said that making Madhya Pradesh employment oriented is the priority of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. He believes that it is necessary to encourage industries for this. He said that the growth rate of Madhya Pradesh is the highest among the big states of the country. Agriculture also contributes 44 percent to GDP. Due to the increase in the area of ​​irrigation in the state, production in the agricultural sector has increased significantly. Mandsaur, Neemuch region has been famous for spices. There are ample possibilities in food processing units here. For ease of setting up and expansion of industrial units, the state government is giving top priority to ease of doing business. Additional Chief Secretary Horticulture and Food Processing Anupam Rajan said that the first episode of Krishi Udyog Sammelan was organized in Sitamau Mandsaur. In this, new technologies have been demonstrated especially in the field of agriculture. As per the wishes of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, such Sammelans will also be organized at the division and district level. There is ample possibility of food processing in the state. In this regard, the policies of the state government are also favourable for investors and industrialists and the state government is also committed to take food processing to new heights in the state. Managing Director of MPIDC Chandramouli Shukla gave information regarding various policies under investment promotion. Industrialist Ajay Bhatnagar also shared his experiences. During the discussion with investors, Deputy Chief Minister Jagdish Devda, Agriculture Minister Edal Singh Kanshana, Horticulture Minister Narayan Singh Kushwaha, Minister in-charge of Mandsaur district Ms. Nirmala Bhuria, public representatives and a large number of industrialists and investors were present.
