State government is determined for timely construction of national highways: Minister Mr. Singh
Public Works Minister Rakesh Singh held a meeting with the officials of National Highway Authority (NHAI) at Bhopal Niwas office on Tuesday and reviewed the current status of the ongoing National Highway projects in the state and the upcoming action plans.
Public Works Minister Rakesh Singh said in the meeting that all the ongoing projects of NHAI in the state should be reviewed regularly. He said that it is very important that the projects are completed within the time limit so that the public can get smooth and safe transport facilities.f Minister Singh said that “there should be no compromise on quality in construction works and road safety standards should be fully followed. He directed for quick action on pending construction related issues. He said that the state government is determined to build national highways in Madhya Pradesh in a time bound manner.
Minister Singh directed to resolve the problems related to forest permission and land acquisition in the projects by mutual coordination with the departments. He said that by discussing, we will ensure the solution of the problems arising in the projects. Minister Mr. Singh said that the successful implementation of National Highway projects will not only provide better transport facilities to the citizens of the state, but will also give a new direction to tourism, industry and trade. MD MPRDC Mr. Avinash Lavania, RO NHAI Mr. S.K. Singh, ENC PWD Mr. KPS Rana and other senior officers were present in the meeting.
