Start the recruitment process as soon as the new organizational structure (OS) of power companies is approved. Energy Minister Shri Pradyuman Singh Tomar gave these instructions on Thursday during the review of departmental schemes in the ministry.

All companies should have the same policy

Minister Shri Tomar said that the policy of keeping outsourced employees should be the same for all companies. He said that a team of officers should be formed to see what problems are there in the companies. Also, a uniform policy should be made to solve them.

reduce line losses

Minister Shri Tomar said that line losses should be reduced on the basis of the parameters set by the Central Government. He said that action plans should be made to increase recovery in those areas where recovery of electricity bills is low. Consumer satisfaction should be given priority.

Resolution of cases filed in Lok Adalats

Minister Shri Tomar said that pending cases should be resolved through Lok Adalats. This will increase the company’s income. He said that there should be uniformity in the billing system. Illegal connections should be made legal by metering them. This will enable recovery of bills.

The Energy Minister said that action should be taken promptly in cases of compassionate appointment. Make a policy in accordance with the instructions of the government so that maximum number of people are benefited. He said that employees doing good work should be rewarded.

Communicate with people

Energy Minister Shri Tomar said that public dialogue should be taken seriously. It is beneficial for both the company and the consumer. Since the year 2021, communication has been done with more than 17 lakh 20 thousand electricity consumers. He said that the assets of the department should be listed and secured. Get fencing or boundary wall constructed as per the requirement. In the meeting, Additional Chief Secretary Energy Shri Neeraj Mandloi gave information about the achievements of the departmental schemes.
