Sports news : Will the remaining matches of IPL 2024 be held outside the country?

Putting an end to speculations about shifting of IPL to United Arab Emirates (UAE) due to Lok Sabha elections in India, BCCI Secretary Jay Shah has made it clear that the entire league will be held in India. During a media interview on Saturday, Jay Shah said that this will not happen at all and the entire tournament will be played in India only.

Let us tell you that the Indian Premier League and the 2024 Lok Sabha elections are once again face to face. This is the fourth time in the history of IPL when the league and elections are going to start at the same time. In view of this, this time half of the IPL schedule (dates of the first 21 matches from March 22 to April 7) has already been released. After the announcement of Lok Sabha election dates yesterday, BCCI can soon release the complete schedule of IPL. According to the announcement of ECI, the elections are starting from 19th April while its results will be declared on 4th June.
