On the sixth day of the 80th Mahant Raja Sarveshwar Das Memorial All India Hockey Competition, being played at the International Astroturf Hockey Stadium by Digvijay Stadium Committee, in the first match of the league round, Eastern Railway Kolkata defeated Naval Tata Hockey Academy Jamshedpur by 2 goals against 1 goal. The prize money was given to goalkeeper Angadbir Singh.
