About 10 days after England spinner Shoaib Bashir got stuck in the visa dispute, compatriot Rehan Ahmed is also seen struggling with a similar problem. According to media reports, Rehan was stopped from entering India. Rehan and the rest of the England team had gone to Abu Dhabi during the 10-day break between the second and third Tests. Rehaan was reportedly stopped at Hirasar Airport in Rajkot as he did not have the correct documents required to enter the country.

According to media reports, Rehaan was stopped at Rajkot airport as he had only a single-entry visa. Keeping in mind the seriousness of the match ahead and the situation, the local authorities gave him an immediate solution and granted him a two-day visa. However, the airport authorities have advised the England camp to resolve the issue completely in the next two days. A person holding a single-entry visa is not allowed to exit and re-enter the country.
