Sports develop an all-round personality: Deputy Chief Minister Shukla
Bhopal. Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla has said that sports develop an all-round personality. Sports events create a harmonious environment in the society. Sports is the only discipline in which even the loser congratulates the winner and the winner encourages the loser to move forward. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla inaugurated the state level competition by lighting the torch and hoisting the flag at Martand Vidyalaya Rewa.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla said that the key to success is hard work. Students should participate in sports while studying by setting a time limit. He said that sports not only lead to physical development but also mental development. Kabaddi is a land-based sport in our country which is played in every village. He talked about having playgrounds in villages and schools so that children and villagers can participate in sports there. He advised the young generation to stay away from drugs and said that those who are addicted to drugs should be sent to the Nasha Mukti Sankalp Kendra established in Rewa to get them rid of their addiction, so that they can be kept away from drugs.
Players of the age group of 14 to 19 years of boys and girls will participate in the Kabaddi competition in the five-day state level sports competition. 468 players and officials from ten divisions are participating in the event. MP Janardan Mishra, District Panchayat President Neeta Kol, MLA Mangawan Eng. Narendra Prajapati, Vivek Dubey along with local public representatives, officers, employees, teachers and coaches, referees and students and players from various divisions were present.
