Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that sports activities infuse positivity and energy in life. Indian culture has a rich and excellent tradition of sports. Through the new education policy, a system has been established to obtain degrees on the basis of sports and for sports teachers to become assistant professors to vice-chancellors. Sports are an effective medium to reveal a person’s efficiency, ability and competence. The state government is committed to encourage sports at every level.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has established the necessary system to nurture talent by encouraging all sports in the country. Its results are also visible in national and international competitions. Efforts will be made to develop a better cricket stadium in Bhopal.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the inaugural function of the 30th Inter Press Cricket Tournament-2025 organized by the Sports Journalists Association of Bhopal. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav started the tournament by batting at the Old Campion Ground. On this occasion, Sports Minister Shri Vishwas Sarang, former MLA Shri Dhruv Narayan Singh, Sports Journalists Association’s patron Shri Mrigendra Singh along with the association’s officials, media personnel and sports lovers were present. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav wished for the successful organization of the tournament.
