South Korea’s ECDS Group will invest in the field of aviation and semiconductors including medical devices in the state: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav
Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the South Korean Joint Venture Group is interested in investing in the field of medical equipment, medical AI, nanotechnology, biopolymer and renewable energy in view of the better industrial environment created in the state. Today, investors and researchers from ECDS Group of South Korea met him at the ministry.
In a discussion with Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, the delegation informed that their group is taking initiative towards setting up a unit focused on research and manufacturing in Ujjain’s Medical Device Park. There is a plan to manufacture kits in this unit to identify symptoms of cancer through urine test. This will help in identifying cancer in the early stages and starting treatment immediately. The group is also interested in investing in aviation semiconductor etc. sectors in the state. Along with this, the group also showed interest in sharing technology and expertise for skill upgradation.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was met by Dr. Woong Kwang Yang, Dr. Younghoon Lim, Dr. Seok Kim, Mr. Jong Shiol Jung, Mr. Jelly Cheon, Mr. Woo Seok Shung and Mr. Rajesh Bhardwaj. Chief Secretary Mr. Anurag Jain, Principal Secretary Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion Mr. Raghvendra Kumar Singh were present.
