In Tanda Bhandeda village of Mangalore Kotwali area, a 17-year-old son, in a fit of rage, killed his father by hitting him with a shovel. Salim used to make bricks at a brick kiln and his 17-year-old son Mushahir also used to help him in the work. Last night, there was an altercation between the two over something. Police engaged in search of absconding son The fight escalated so much that in anger, Mushahir attacked his father with a shovel, due to which he died on the spot. After the incident, the teenager fled from there. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot. The police took the body in their custody and sent it for postmortem. At present, the police is continuously raiding in search of the accused teenager.
