Uttarakhand: Sift Kaur from Punjab Wins Gold in 50m 3-Position Shooting at National Games The National Games are currently being hosted in Uttarakhand, and on Monday, an exciting event took place at the Trishul Hall of Maharana Pratap Sports College. Punjab’s Sift Kaur delivered a stellar performance in the Women’s 50m 3-Position Shooting event, securing the gold medal. Her teammate Anjum from Punjab clinched the silver, while Telangana’s Surabhi bagged the bronze. Sift Kaur Dominates the Finals to Win Gold The competition among top shooters was intense. Kerala’s Vidharsha Vinod initially took the lead after the kneeling position but couldn’t maintain her advantage till the end. Sift Kaur Samra emerged victorious with a total score of 461.2, securing the gold medal. Anjum Moudgil followed closely with 458.7, earning silver, while Surabhi Bharadwaj Rapole claimed the bronze with 448.8 points. Jonathan Anthony of Karnataka Bags Gold in 10m Pistol In the Men’s 10m Pistol event, Karnataka’s Jonathan Anthony delivered an outstanding performance to win the gold medal.
