Shastra Pujan in Raipur Police Line on Vijayadashami, SSP Santosh Singh wishes for Dussehra festival
Raipur. On the occasion of Vijayadashami, Shastra Puja was traditionally organized in Raipur Police Line. On this occasion, Senior Superintendent of Police Santosh Singh along with his family duly worshiped the weapons. All the senior police officers of the district were also present in the program.
Keeping in mind the sanctity of weapons and their importance during the puja, Harsh Fire was also done. This event is celebrated as a symbol of victory of good over evil. On this occasion, SSP Santosh Singh extended his heartfelt wishes to all the policemen and the general public on the occasion of Dussehra festival and expressed his commitment towards the safety and dedication of the police force.
No shortage of weapons in police stations – SSP
In response to a question asked on the issue of shortage of weapons in police stations, SSP Santosh Singh said that sufficient number of weapons are available in all the police stations. He wished all the citizens of the district on the festival of Vijayadashami and said that may the festival of Vijayadashami bring happiness in your life. It is the festival of victory of truth over untruth and celebrate it in this manner and kill the Ravana within you and awaken Ram.
