Appeal to vote 100% in the upcoming urban body elections

Raipur 07 February 2025: Under the guidance of Collector and District Election Officer Dr. Gaurav Singh, a rally was started from the Government Old Age Home located at Mana Camp for the Urban Body Election 2025 under the Jabo “Jagav Voter” voter awareness campaign. Director Social Welfare Mrs. Roktima Yadav and District Panchayat CEO Mr. Vishwadeep flagged off the voter awareness rally. Senior citizens and members of the third gender community along with children from the visually and hearing impaired special school, physical referral center, state resource and rehabilitation center, government disabled college, mentally retarded home, multi-disabled home, orthopedically handicapped special school operated under the Social Welfare Department participated in the rally.

Slogans for 100% voting were raised in the rally and the rally concluded at the PRRC Center of the Social Welfare Department after making the voters aware of voting through various slogans, election based songs and posters. Nearly 600 handicapped, elderly people and members of the third gender community participated in today’s program. During this, a pledge was taken to vote in the upcoming election and to inspire others as well. Deputy Director Social Welfare Mr. Bhupendra Pandey, Mr. Sharad Tiwari, Mr. Vimlesh Uike, Assistant Director Ms. Richa Sharma and all the institutional officers and employees were present in this program.
