Under this, a total of 32 gram panchayats and 27 wards have been selected to make one gram panchayat/ward of each sector of the district malnutrition free in the first phase to reduce the rates of underweight, dwarfism and wasting in all three levels of malnutrition.

According to the information received from Ajay Sharma, District Program Officer of Women and Child Development Department, malnutrition relief program in these selected gram panchayats/wards in coordination with various departments like Panchayat and Rural Development, Urban Body, Women and Child Development Department, Health Department, Horticulture Department. To be edited. In the programme, proper arrangement of supplementary nutrition, vaccination, intake of Vitamin-A, deworming tablets as per age, mandatory intake of iron syrup or tablet supplements will be ensured. Along with this, the age, weight and height of the children will be measured regularly and reviewed through the Nutrition Tracker app. Along with the basic arrangements in Anganwadi centres, nutrition bars, home visits to the homes of malnourished children, pregnant mothers/infant mothers, prevention of under-nutrition, breastfeeding promotion, hygiene rehabilitation, infant mothers will be implemented on priority. In the campaign, special attention will be given to the period during pregnancy and the first two years of the child i.e. the first 1000 days. This campaign of the district administration will play an important role in breaking the vicious cycle of malnutrition.
