Sanchi will bring new quality products in the market: Minister of State for Animal Husbandry Patel

Minister of State for Animal Husbandry and Dairy (Independent Charge) Lakhan Patel has said that there is no better way than milk production to increase the income of farmers. Madhya Pradesh Cooperative Milk Federation is bringing new quality products in the market through its Sanchi brand. Today Sanchi has launched Natural Coconut Water, which is of very high quality and health enhancing. In future, the Milk Federation also plans to bring products of minor millets Kodo-Kutki in the market.

Minister Shri Patel today launched the sale of Sanchi’s new product pasteurized natural coconut water at the main dairy plant of Bhopal Cooperative Milk Federation. On this occasion, President of Veterinary Council of India Dr. Umesh Sharma, Director Animal Husbandry and Dairy Dr. P S Patel etc. were present. Minister Shri Patel himself drank coconut water and praised it. Everyone present in the program consumed Sanchi coconut water and described it as good in quality and taste.

Minister Shri Patel said that the income of Bhopal Milk Union is continuously increasing. This year so far, the milk union has earned a profit of about 700 crores. The milk union is not only working for the benefit of farmers, but is also not behind in the welfare of the employees of the union. Now, along with the farmers, the employees will also be insured.

Minister Shri Patel said that the basic principle of cooperation is transparency and to provide benefits to every person involved. Our government is working on this principle. Our aim is to provide maximum income to milk producing farmers and we are continuously making efforts for this.

Minister Shri Patel said that this year our government is celebrating the year of cow conservation and cow development under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. To bring awareness among the general public about the safety of cows and their proper upbringing, this year the government is going to organize programs related to cow conservation and development in big cow shelters on November 2 on Govardhan Puja. Participate in these programs in maximum numbers and contribute to this holy work.

Bhopal Milk Union Chief Executive Officer Shri R.P. Tiwari said that after milk, curd, Shrikhand, Brij Peda, Keshav Peda, Sanchi Neer and Sanchi Kheer, now Sanchi Milk Union has brought its new product pure natural and pasteurized “Sanchi Coconut Water” in the market. It is being packed in 200 ml bottles in Pollachi (District Coimbatore) of Tamil Nadu, a coconut production area. Its market price has been kept at ₹ 50 per bottle and its use period is 9 months. To prepare it, water is extracted from fresh coconut in the plant using hands-free technology and it is heated to 99 degrees centigrade using the retort method and pasteurized and packed in bottles. He said that in future the Milk Union also plans to bring bread, tea leaves, chips etc. in the market.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the discussion session and national seminar organized on the topic “Global efforts for climate change: Contribution of states in India’s commitment” at Kushabhau Thackeray International Convention Center on Monday. It has been organized by Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Good Governance and Policy Analysis (AGPA) and Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology in collaboration with Narmada Samagra Sanstha Parivahi and Sikoidecon Organization.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that in the times the world is going through at present, our Indian way of life, our beliefs and our basic approach of connecting with God and nature have their own importance. Indians are known for a great lifestyle. We are serious about the purity of food and water. Madhya Pradesh has the special blessings of God.
