Samsung’s Z Flip 7 will be launched soon, the company’s own processor is going to be special

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 Expected Launch  The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 is set to launch later this year, likely taking over from the current Galaxy Z Flip 6. This popular clamshell-style foldable phone currently runs on the octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. There were earlier reports suggesting that the new model might feature the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. However, some conflicting information has come up, indicating that Samsung might actually use its own Exynos 2500 processor instead. A recent report has surfaced, backing the idea that the Exynos 2500 chip could indeed be the one powering the Galaxy Z Flip 7, along with some details about its production timeline. According to a report from ChosunBiz, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 is likely to come equipped with Samsung’s Exynos 2500 chipset. Mass production of the phone could kick off in May, with around 200,000 units expected to be produced by June. The launch is anticipated to happen sometime in July. The report also suggests that Samsung may have chosen the Exynos chip over the Snapdragon due to cost and production issues. Since they’re only making a limited number of units, using an in-house chip seems to be a smarter financial move. This could help lower the overall cost of the phone or boost their profit margins.

Another report mentioned that the Galaxy Z Flip 7 would be launched globally with the Exynos 2500 chip, which goes against earlier leaks that indicated it would feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor. Besides the main model, Samsung is also rumored to be developing a more affordable and slimmer version of the Z Flip 7. This budget-friendly model might be branded under the FE or Xe series and is expected to come with the Exynos 2400e chip. On a different note, there’s no confusion about the processor for the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7. All the leaks and reports so far consistently indicate that this book-style foldable will be powered by a customized version of the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip.
