Sambal Yojana wipes the tears of the needy in difficult times and becomes their support: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that apart from basic needs like roti, kapda and makaan, there are other needs for which money is necessary. Many times we feel helpless in difficult times like maternity, illness, disability and loss of a loved one. Sambal Yojana wipes the tears of the needy in such difficult times and provides them support. The state government is working with firm resolve to change the fate of the poor and working class of the state and for the welfare of the poor and working class of the state. In accordance with the spirit of the resolution of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the resolution of welfare of Antyodaya is being implemented in the state. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the families virtually from the ministry after transferring an amount of Rs 550 crore to the accounts of more than 23 thousand labour families of the state with a single click under the Chief Minister Jankalyan (Sambal) Yojana. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav interacted virtually with five beneficiaries and expressed condolences on the demise of their family members. Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Shri Prahlad Singh Patel participated virtually in the program. Beneficiaries and public representatives from all districts, municipal corporations, municipal councils and gram panchayats of the state also joined the program virtually. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was welcomed by presenting a plant.

Greeting the labour families of the state, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the labourers who run their lives and their families through hard work are the foundation of the state’s development. Hard work enhances our talent and paves the way for a happy future for the coming generation. The state government has made adequate arrangements for the education of needy children. Students doing well in studies are also being encouraged by giving them scooties and laptops. The state government is trying to improve the lives of all the people of the state. The sun of happiness should rise in every family and everyone should live life with joy and splendor. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the state government is working for public welfare and development with purity, transparency and efficiency. In the same sequence, the backlog of Sambal Yojana is also being eliminated.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav informed that so far more than 6 lakh 58 thousand families have been given benefits of more than 5 thousand 927 crore rupees under the Sambal Yojana. Considering gig and platform workers as unorganized workers, the state government has decided to include them in the Sambal Yojana from 01 March 2024. On the initiative of Prime Minister Shri Modi, all Sambal beneficiaries have been included in the Ayushman Bharat Niramaya: Yojana. To ensure that poor sisters do not have to go to work during pregnancy and they also get nutrition, the state government has made arrangements to give 16 thousand rupees to such sisters.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav virtually discussed with the beneficiaries of Sambal Yojana from various districts in the program. In this sequence, he talked to Mrs. Anjali Raikwar of Mandsaur, Mrs. Premlata Karma of Khargone, Mrs. Mannu Dhimar of Shahdol, Mrs. Kallan Valmik of Datia, Mrs. Shiv Kumari of Sehore. On the demise of Mrs. Anjali Raikwar’s husband, financial assistance of Rs 4 lakh and Rs 2 each was provided to the remaining four beneficiaries. In a discussion with Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, Mrs. Anjali Raikwar of Mandsaur told that she got enough support from this assistance and she is now learning the work of beauty parlor. Mrs. Mannu Dhimar of Shahdol told that she is running a small grocery shop. Mrs. Kallan Valmik of Datia, Mrs. Shiv Kumari of Sehore and Mrs. Premlata Karma of Khargone told that the assistance received under the Sambal Yojana has helped in the upbringing of the family and the education of the children. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav called upon all the beneficiaries connected in the program to join all welfare schemes like Ladli Behna Yojana, Ayushman Yojana, Foodgrain slip, Ujjwala Yojana.

Sambal Yojana helps the needy in times of need: Minister Shri Patel

Labor, Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Shri Prahlad Singh Patel thanked Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav for his full cooperation in the implementation of the scheme. He said that the Chief Minister Jankalyan Sambal Yojana was started in the year 2018. This scheme of the government is a scheme to help the needy. Since the beginning of the scheme, beneficiaries have received benefits of Rs 5,927 crore so far. He said that under the Anugrah Sahayata Yojana, an amount of Rs 4 lakh is given in case of accidental death of a worker, Rs 2 lakh in case of normal death. An amount of Rs 2 lakh on permanent disability and Rs 1 lakh on partial permanent disability is given to the worker families. Minister Shri Patel said that today an amount of Rs 505 crore is being transferred to the worker families in 23 thousand 162 cases. He said that under the guidance of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, the backlog of the scheme is being eliminated. In today’s program, there are many districts where beneficiaries are being given an amount of more than Rs 10 crore. He said that on an average 3.5 thousand cases are resolved every month under the Sambal Yojana.
