Rubina achieved her goal with true dedication and concentration
Bhopal. 25-year-old Rubina Francis, born in a normal family in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, has recently made Madhya Pradesh and India proud by winning a bronze medal in the Olympic Shooting Para Sports Championship. Rubina Francis, along with being an international para shooting player from Madhya Pradesh, has become the first female Olympian player from Madhya Pradesh.
Rubina Francis joined the Madhya Pradesh State Sports Academy in August 2015 at the age of 14. Rubina Francis became a player of the P-2 10 meter air pistol women event of shooting with hard work and dedication in a short time. Rubina Francis, who has a graduate degree, has won 8 medals at the international level and 22 medals at the national level. Rubina has secured fifth place in the world ranking and second place in the Asian ranking.
Rubina participated in the Olympic Shooting Para Sports Championship Tokyo in the year 2021 and secured 7th place. Similarly, she made a junior record in the World Shooting Para Shooting World Cup Championship of 2017 and 2018. In the same year, she equaled the junior record in the World Shooting Para Shooting World Cup Championship in France.
Apart from this, Rubina has made the country and the state proud by performing brilliantly in the World Para Shooting World Cup held in France in 2022 and creating a world record by winning a total of 4 medals including 1 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze.
Rubina has made the country proud by winning a bronze medal by representing India in the Paralympics 2024 Paris France on the strength of her hard work and concentration in adverse circumstances.
