Responsibility of officers should be fixed for effective implementation of the scheme: Governor Patel

Bhopal: Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel said that seriousness should be maintained in the implementation of each phase of Mukhyamantri Dudhharu Pashu Praday Yojana. The eligible beneficiary should be given the benefit of the scheme. The responsibility of the officers should also be fixed for the effective implementation of the scheme. Departmental officers should communicate with the beneficiaries from time to time. Go to their homes and get the actual information about the benefits being received from the scheme. Listen to the difficulties of the beneficiaries seriously and solve them. Governor Shri Patel was reviewing the Mukhyamantri Dudhharu Pashu Praday Yojana operated under the Animal Husbandry and Dairy Department. Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Animal Husbandry and Dairy Department Shri Lakhan Patel was also present in the review meeting held in Jawahar Khand Sabhakaksha of Raj Bhavan. Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel said that Mukhyamantri Dudhharu Pashu Praday Yojana is an ambitious scheme for the welfare of extremely backward tribes. This is a scheme to improve the standard of living of Baiga, Bharia and Sahariya tribes. The Animal Husbandry Department should be especially sensitive towards the eligible and poor beneficiaries. Always work with a spirit of helping them. Governor Shri Patel reviewed in detail the implementation of the Mukhyamantri Dudhdharu Pashu Yojana in the last three years in the meeting. He inquired about the improvement in the standard of living of the beneficiaries due to the implementation of the scheme. During the review of the progress report of the scheme, necessary instructions were given regarding beneficiary selection, animal supply, income, target and fulfillment. Minister of State for Animal Husbandry and Dairy (Independent Charge) Shri Lakhan Patel said that continuous monitoring is necessary for the success of the scheme. The department should make necessary arrangements for this. Tribal Cell Chairman Shri Deepak Khandekar discussed the necessary training provided to the beneficiary under the scheme, animal care etc. Animal Husbandry and Dairy Principal Secretary Shri Umakant Umrao gave information on the points like eligibility, evaluation, upcoming targets, training and management etc. of the scheme. Principal Secretary to the Governor Dr. Navneet Mohan Kothari, Secretary of Animal Husbandry and Dairy Department Dr. Satyendra Singh, Director Dr. P.S. Patel, Managing Director Dr. Satyanidhi Shukla, Dr. Sanjay Govani, General Manager Shri Aseem Nigam and other senior officials were present in the meeting.
