Raipur. Deputy Chief Minister and Minister-in-charge of Kanker district Arun Saw today reviewed the progress of implementation of government schemes and development works by holding a meeting of officials at Kanker district headquarters. Addressing the officials in the meeting, he said that Kanker district is a resource-rich district, whose systematic development is the great responsibility of all of you. Be it a public representative or an administrative officer, everyone should have the same goal that maximum benefits of the government schemes reach the citizens. You people should set a better example with your good behavior, team work and punctuality by demonstrating your best ability and work style.
Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw said in the review meeting that God has given all public servants a good opportunity to serve the people. Meeting their expectations and aspirations is not only an administrative but also a moral responsibility. Ensure that every person gets pure drinking water under Jal Jeevan Mission. Complete the work of roads and bridges under the Public Works Department with full quality. While reviewing the Revenue Department, Mr. Saw said that the Revenue Officers must give time for regular settlement of judicial cases. For this, by adopting a positive work style, discharge the departmental responsibilities in a timely manner. Make every possible effort to live up to the aspirations of the people so that the farmers who provide food do not have to wander.
Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Saw directed the officials of the Health Department in the meeting to do regular and intensive monitoring to know the ground reality of the timely availability of health services, facilities, doctors and essential medicines. He asked the officials of the Urban Administration Department to take stock of the urban bodies to know the ground situation of the currently running ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ fortnight. The officials should worry about the facilities and problems of the entire city. He asked the officials of all the departments to make every possible meaningful effort to make Kanker district, full of natural resources, a leader and develop facilities for the people here.
