Emergency: Kangana Ranaut is a well-known actress in the Bollywood industry, and she’s also quite active in politics these days. For a while now, fans have been speculating about the release of her highly anticipated film ‘Emergency.’ The release date was postponed previously, but now the wait is finally over. Kangana recently announced on social media that her film ‘Emergency’ has officially received its release date. She shared the news on her X platform, stating that the film has been approved by the censor board and is scheduled to be released on January 17.
In her post, Kangana shared the film’s poster, which features several other actors. She wrote, “This is the tale of the country’s most powerful woman and that moment which changed India’s destiny. The film will be released on January 17, 2025.”For those who aren’t aware, ‘Emergency’ is based on the life of India’s first female Prime Minister, Indira Gandhi. The film depicts the state of emergency that she declared while in power. Kangana will portray Indira Gandhi in the film, and she has also taken on the role of director.
Alongside Kangana, the film features Anupam Kher playing Jayaprakash Narayan, and Shreyas Talpade will portray former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Additionally, Satish Kaushik, Milind Soman, and Mahima Chaudhary will also be seen in the film.
