Recruitment of Nagar Sainiks is being done after a decade on the instructions of Chief Minister

Raipur. On the instructions of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, the process of recruitment for the posts of Nagar Sainiks has started after almost a decade. Recruitment will be done for 465 posts for the districts of Bilaspur Revenue Division. The recruitment process will be completed from 16 September to 1 October at the Fire and SDRF ground located at Bharni Parasada. About 21 thousand candidates have applied for 465 posts of Nagar Sainiks. Bilaspur Collector Mr. Avnish Sharan and Superintendent of Police Mr. Rajnesh Singh today inspected the Fire and SDRF ground located at Bharni Parasada and directed the concerned officials to ensure necessary preparations.

DIG of Fire and Emergency Services SK Thakur said that out of the approved 465 posts, 200 posts are for Nagar Sainiks and 265 posts are for female Nagar Sainiks in women’s hostels. Every day, the efficiency test of about 1500 candidates will be held in the ground. The efficiency test will be of 100 marks. For male candidates, there will be 100 meter race, 800 meter race, long jump and high jump. For female candidates, there will be all the three competitions except 100 meter race. Out of 200 posts of Nagar Sainiks, 75 posts are for Bilaspur district and 25-25 posts are for Mungeli, Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, Raigarh, Korba and Janjgir-Champa districts. Date wise call letters have been issued to all the candidates. During the efficiency test, the candidates will have to reach with caste certificate, residence certificate, employment office registration, NCC-C certificate, heavy vehicle driving license, division level or high level sports competition certificate.

Collector and Superintendent of Police of Bilaspur today inspected the fire and SDRF ground located at Bharni Parasada and took stock of the preparations and assigned responsibilities to the concerned officers. He gave instructions to make necessary arrangements for leveling the recruitment ground, fencing and barricading of the ground, necessary arrangements for various events, medical team, drinking water, dustbins, mobile toilets, law and order in and around the recruitment ground and for traffic. DFO Shri Satyadev Sharma and CEO of Zila Panchayat Shri Ramprasad Chauhan were also present during this time.
