Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that convenient schemes for the development of small scale industries related to other departments like micro, small and medium enterprises should be rationalized and brought under one roof. In view of the investors’ inclination to set up industries in Madhya Pradesh, he also gave instructions to create a skills bank, so that industries can get a work-force together.
Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Minister Shri Chetan Kumar Kashyap, Chief Secretary Anurag Jain, Additional Chief Secretary Chief Minister’s Office Shri Rajesh Rajoura, Principal Secretary Chief Minister’s Office Shri Sanjay Kumar Shukla, Principal Secretary Finance Shri Manish Rastogi and Industry Commissioner and Secretary of MSME Department Shri Navneet Mohan Kothari and other senior officials were present in the meeting.
In the meeting, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav told that recently he had gone to Mandideep Industrial Center located in Raisen district near the capital Bhopal, when the entrepreneurs had informed him about the problems of the industrial area. The entrepreneurs had also told that they have got some internal roads constructed in Mandideep on their own. In this context, in the review meeting of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Department in the Ministry today, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav directed that the Industries Department and the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Department should promptly resolve the problems of entrepreneurs. In the industrial sector, along with land development in industrial institutions, sewerage system, drinking water system and other basic facilities should be ensured for entrepreneurs. All the departments related to the industry have to find a way to promptly solve the problems related to the industry. For this, the Industries Department should play a leadership role.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that various trade fairs add speed to the pace of the economy. Trade fairs and festivals should be organized in other cities on the lines of the trade fairs of Gwalior and Ujjain.

Continuous review should also be done by the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Department to provide necessary permissions to entrepreneurs. Senior officers of the department should hold a review meeting on a weekly basis for the promotion of small industries and small entrepreneurs.
Necessary facilities should be provided in the districts where there is a possibility of development in the powerloom sector.
Small enterprises of similar nature from different departments should be brought under one roof. Uniformity policy can also be implemented in providing subsidy and facilities by a particular department.
Departments should make all schemes similar. Create a skills bank which includes skilled or trained force of all trades, it will help in providing worker force to industries.
More than four and a half thousand crores of business was done from Gwalior and Ujjain trade fairs
In the meeting, the presentation by the Department of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises said that this year trade worth more than 1800 crores was done in Gwalior trade fair. Trade worth Rs 2765.25 crores was done in Ujjaini Vikram trade fair. More than 700 women entrepreneurs participated in Mahila Udyam Sammelan Bhopal. MSME department also played a role in Laghu Udyog Bharati Dewas Industrial Conclave. Along with powerloom, special work has been started in garments, textile, pharma furniture and food processing sector. A grant of Rs 275 crore was provided to a total of 850 units in the MSME sector in the month of August.
A total of four and a half thousand startups and 70 incubators have been established in the state.
It was told in the meeting that startups are being encouraged in the state. A total of 2168 startups are run by women. In the last two years, the number of preferred startups has increased by 150 percent. The state has been ranked in the leader category in the startup ranking of the Government of India. A contract has been signed with Alternative Investment Funds, through which the state government has invested Rs 2.25 crore. Through this, an investment of Rs 11 crore has been received for three startups of the state.
