Ranbir's superhit old films are back in cinemas
In the scorching sun and sweaty heat, a group of youngsters are busy doing calculations in front of a PVR cinema in Andheri West, Mumbai. Everyone has to watch a film together and everyone is creating a ‘money pool’ by adding their share of money. On asking out of curiosity, it was found that all of them have not gathered here to watch any new film. All of them are going to watch actor Ranbir Kapoor’s film ‘Rockstar’ released 13 years ago. Yes, that era of Hindi cinema has returned again when advertisements like ‘On public demand, at your nearest cinema halls at reduced rates’ used to be printed in newspapers.
On investigating about this, it was found that the cinema halls are earning very good money from the shows of Ranbir Kapoor’s film ‘Rockstar’ released in the year 2011. His film ‘Animal’ released last year has also returned to the cinema halls. The weekend collections of these two films are said to be better than some of the Hindi films released recently. And, not just Ranbir Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar and Abhay Deol’s superhit film ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ is also running well in theatres these days.
