Bhopal. Forest and Environment Minister Ramniwas Rawat attended the Rakshabandhan program in village Awada of Vijaypur assembly constituency. He said that Rakshabandhan is an ancient tradition, which is a part of our culture. It promotes affection and love between brothers and sisters. Mr. Rawat said that the state government is determined to uplift sisters. There is a plan to make women economically prosperous with a unique scheme like Ladli Behna.

Minister Mr. Rawat got blessings from thousands of Ladli Behna by tying Rakhi to them in the Rakshabandhan program. He promised the sisters that I am with you at every turn. The respect and importance of sisters in the society will remain at all times. Minister Mr. Rawat also got Rakhi tied by sisters in the Rakshabandhan program in village Bhojka. Participated in a massive tree plantation program at BRC office Karahal under the campaign “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam”. Minister Shri Rawat said that plantation of trees is very important for environmental conservation of our state.
