Raipur Municipal Corporation Officer, Employee Unity Association handed over a memorandum to the Mayor, Chairman, Leader of Opposition, Commissioner regarding their 7 point demands

 Raipur – Raipur Municipal Corporation Officer Employee Unity Association handed over a memorandum to the Mayor Mr. Ejaz Dhebar, Chairman Mr. Pramod Dubey, Leader of Opposition Mrs. Meenal Chabe, Commissioner Mr. Abinash Mishra regarding their 7 point demands. In which all assured to consider the demands of the association. On this occasion, the President of the Association Mr. Pramod Jadhav, Vice President Swati Sahu, Mohit Kumar, Shyam Soni, General Secretary Mr. Ashutosh Singh, Radheshyam Ekka along with other officials and a large number of officers and employees were present. The main demands of the officers and employees in Raipur Municipal Corporation are as follows: Old pension should be implemented for all the officers and employees appointed after 2004. For the immediate treatment of sick officers and employees, the facility of cashless card should be provided and a facility of Rs. 25 lakh should be provided instead of Rs. 15 lakh. Eligible officers and employees should be given the benefits of promotion and timely pay scale. Also, the applications of employees pursuing higher education and appearing for other examinations etc. on time should be considered promptly and permission and no objection certificate should be granted as per rules. Eligible dependents of the deceased officers and employees should be given compassionate appointment soon. The contract system should be abolished in Municipal Corporation Raipur and placement employees should be paid salaries directly through the body. Shramik Samman amount should be paid to employees working on contract.
