Raipur: Farmers are happy with the facility of micro ATM in procurement centers
Mr. Rakesh Kurre does not have to visit banks anymore
Raipur : The tight system of paddy procurement at the support price by the government of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has not only made it easier for farmers to sell paddy but it has also become easier for farmers to withdraw money after selling paddy. Due to the farmer-friendly policies of the Chhattisgarh government, the farmers of the state are getting the highest price per quintal of paddy. Chhattisgarh is the only state in the country where farmers are getting the highest price of Rs 3100 for one quintal of paddy. The facility of withdrawing money through micro ATM from the procurement center and committee immediately after selling paddy has doubled their happiness. Many arrangements have been made by the government for the convenience of farmers in paddy procurement centers, micro ATM facility is also included in these facilities.
Through micro ATM, farmers can withdraw up to 10 thousand rupees in cash at the procurement centre itself. Farmers are happy with this facility. Mr. Rakesh Kurre of Chilhati sold 62.80 quintals of paddy at Mopka paddy procurement centre and withdrew 1 thousand rupees in cash through micro ATM at the centre itself. He said that this facility is fulfilling the immediate needs of the farmers. Now farmers do not need to visit ATM or bank. They can withdraw money from the micro ATM of the procurement centre and immediately pay the rent of the Metador, tractor, Chota Hathi hired for paddy transportation and the wages of the porters. For this, farmers neither need to borrow money from anyone nor do they need to visit banks. Mr. Kurre said that the use of micro ATM is very easy. Cash can be obtained through Aadhaar number and finger print. Farmers are getting great relief from the facility given by Chief Minister Mr. Sai.
