“Raipur creates history in cleanliness: Fourth place in the country, 300 Safai Mitras honored for becoming a 7-star city”

Every Swachhata Didi and Safai Mitra was given a cash incentive of Rs. 1000. Happy with the honor, the Swachhata Didis and Safai Mitras thanked the Municipal Corporation Mayor, Chairman and Commissioner for receiving the honorarium before Rakhi.

Raipur – On Raipur city getting fourth place in the ranking in the country in the National Swachh Survey 2024-25 and Raipur city becoming the first 7 star city in Chhattisgarh in the Garbage Free City category, today in the Zone 2 office of Municipal Corporation Raipur, Mayor of Municipal Corporation Meenal Chaubey gave Rs 1000 to each Swachhata Didi and Safai Mitra to 300 Safai Mitras, Swachhata Didis working in all 7 wards of Zone 2 in the presence of Chairman Suryakant Rathore, Commissioner Vishwadeep, Health Department Chairperson Gayatri Sunil Chandrakar, Revenue Department Chairperson Avtar Bharti Bagal, Finance Department Chairperson Mahendra Khodiyar, Councilor Ramhin Kurre, Khagpati Soni, Additional Commissioner Health Vinod Pandey, Health Officer Preeti Singh, Zone 2 Zone Commissioner Dr. R.K. Dongre Executive Engineer PD Ghritalhar, Zone Health Officer Ravi Lavania. They were honoured with cash incentives and encouraged on the stage. On receiving the cash incentive before Rakhi, the Swachhata Didi and Safai Mitras expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Municipal Corporation Mayor Meenal Choubey, Chairman Suryakant Rathore and Commissioner Vishwadeep. Mayor Meenal Choubey said that Swachhata Didi and Safai Mitras are the key to success in Municipal Corporation, due to which the Municipal Corporation has been honoured for having the best cleanliness in the entire country. The Mayor appreciated Chairman Suryakant Rathore, Zone 2 ward councillors, Zone officers and employees for organising the event before Sakhi and honouring all the Safai Mitras and Swachhata Didi of Zone 2 by giving them cash incentives of Rs. 1000 each.

Commissioner Vishwadeep said that honouring Swachhata Didi and Safai Mitras for their contribution in increasing the pride of the city is a good event. For this he thanked Chairman Suryakant Rathore and Zone 2 Commissioner Dr. R.K. He appreciated the entire team of officers and employees of Municipal Corporation Zone 2 including Dongre. Expressing his happiness, Chairman Suryakant Rathore said that before Rakhi, Raipur Municipal Corporation should give and honour all the Swachhata Didi’s and Safai Mitras a cash incentive of Rs. 1000 each, for which he made continuous efforts along with Mayor Genele Choubey and Commissioner Vishwadeep and it is really a pleasure to be honoured in this today in Municipal Corporation Zone 2. Chairman Suryakant Rathore appreciated the contribution of all the Swachhata Didi’s and Safai Mitras in making the city clean in every season.
