Rail coach unit will accelerate the development of Bhopal Metropolitan City: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that on the initiative of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the state is getting a big gift of rail coach unit. The Brahma Project (BEML Rail Hub for Manufacturing) to be built at a cost of Rs 1800 crore on more than 60 hectares of land in village Umaria of Raisen near the border of Bhopal district by Bharat Earth Movers Project will benefit districts like Bhopal, Raisen, Sehore and Vidisha. Employment opportunities will be created for the students studying in technical institutes of these districts. More than 1500 people will get direct and indirect employment in the project. Bhopal region, which is developing as a metropolitan city, will greatly benefit from this project. This project is a manifestation of the spirit of Make in India mission being run under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi. The coaches of Vande Bharat-Amrit Bharat and Metro trains to be made here will usher in a new era of the entire Indian railway system. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav expressed these views in a meeting held at Samtva Bhavan regarding the preparations for the Bhoomi Pujan and foundation stone laying program to be held on August 10 in Obedullaganj under the chief hospitality of Union Defense Minister Shri Rajnath Singh for the rail coach manufacturing facility.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that wide publicity should be ensured for this ambitious project, which will accelerate the development of the region and create new employment opportunities. He said that a large number of local people will participate in the Bhoomi Pujan. Therefore, proper arrangements for their transportation and meeting should be ensured. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also obtained information regarding snacks, food, drinking water etc. of the participants. It was informed that the Bhoomi Pujan of the project will be held on August 10 at Dussehra Ground in Obedullaganj. Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and Rural Development Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Defense Production Secretary Shri Sanjeev Kumar, Chairman of Railway Board Shri Satish Kumar, Chairman of Bharat Earth Movers Project Shri Shantanu Rai will participate in the program. On this occasion, a short film focused on Bharat Earth Movers Project, 3rd walk through of the proposed plant and models of new plants will be displayed. Around 10 thousand participants will attend the program. Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Skill Development and Employment Shri Gautam Tetwal, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Fisherman Welfare and Fisheries Development and Minister in-charge of Raisen district Shri Narayan Singh Panwar and concerned officials were present in the meeting.
