Raipur – In collaboration with Rahgiri Foundation under Raipur Municipal Corporation, a two-day Rahgiri Day will be organised for road safety and environmental awareness in Raipur city on 1st March from 5 pm to 8 pm and on 2nd March from 7 am to 10 pm from in front of the gate of Science College to the gate of Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University on GE Marg of the capital city. Positive activities like Zumba, yoga, various activities, medical camps, cycling, sports competitions will be organised in the event. Rahgiri Foundation, which is organising Rahgiri Day in many cities of the country like Gurugram, Delhi, is working to bring together different sections of the society through road safety, environmental awareness, cultural activities, sports activities, fitness activities, competitions etc. It is noteworthy that on the day of Raagiri Diwas, any road or place in the city is declared a no vehicle zone and the above events are organized. In other cities, Raagiri Diwas is organized for only one day, but in Raipur city, for the first time, a two-day Raagiri Diwas program will be organized by Raagiri Foundation from in front of Science College Gate on GE Marg in the capital city of Raipur to the gate of Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University on 1st March from 5 pm to 8 pm and on 2nd March from 7 am to 10 am. In which all the citizens of the capital city Raipur, especially the youth have been appealed to participate in maximum numbers in the two-day Raagiri Diwas event for direct benefit.
