Public holiday declared in place of general holiday on ‘Rakshabandhan’ festival

Raipur. As per the notification by the Ministry located in Nava Raipur Atal Nagar, the General Administration Department of the Chhattisgarh Government has declared a public holiday on 19 August Rakshabandhan festival. It is worth mentioning here that the state government had earlier declared a general holiday in the state of Chhattisgarh on the occasion of ‘Rakshabandhan’ festival on Monday, 19 August 2024. According to the new notification, now on Rakshabandhan festival on Monday, 19 August, there will be a public holiday in Chhattisgarh under the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881. This notification has been issued by the General Administration Department, making partial amendment in the notification issued on 11 October 2023.
