Provision of Rs 100 crore for construction of hostels for working women: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that more than 45 percent of the total start-ups in the state are owned by women. The sisters of the self-help group are making a new identity as Drone Didi. 35 percent reservation in government jobs has given new wings of success to the sisters and daughters. In the state, women are getting additional exemption in the registration of land, shop and house, due to which sisters have got the power of property. The respect of sisters has increased, now women are getting importance in household decisions as well. All these signs are signs of empowerment of the society because empowerment of society is incomplete without empowerment of women. If we want to see our state moving forward on the path of progress, then it is necessary to provide education to the sisters and daughters, their skill development and adequate employment opportunities to them. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was virtually addressing the Women-Centric Employment Festival organized by Satyaj Foundation at Kalidas Academy, Ujjain from the Chief Minister’s residence.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that every possible arrangement is being made to provide education and employment opportunities to sisters and daughters. A provision of Rs. 100 crore has been made for the construction of hostels for working women. A total budget of Rs. 27 thousand 147 crore has been set for women and child development. In this, the size of the gender budget has doubled in six years. Many types of concessions have been provided to increase the participation of women in business. It is a matter of pride for all of us that sisters and daughters are performing all their tasks responsibly in employment and business and are also taking care of their families. He said that the state government is with the sisters and daughters at every stage of their lives.
Various companies participated in the Rozgar Parv program organized in Ujjain. Minister of State for Skill Development and Employment and Ujjain District In-charge Shri Gautam Tetwal, MLA Shri Anil Jain Kaluhera, Municipal Corporation Chairperson Smt. Kalavati Yadav and former Union Minister Dr. Satyanarayan Jatia were present in the program. More than 25 companies participated in the program.
