Providing laptops to talented students will strengthen the possibilities of a bright future for the state – Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the joy a mother gets in making her children flourish cannot be described in words. Similarly, the joy that is being received by providing laptops to the talented students of the state is indescribable. This is a feeling that will remain in the memory for a lifetime. Just as the members of a family have a right over all the resources, similarly the weakest section of the society has a right over all the resources of the state government. Providing laptops to brilliant students will enhance their talent, which will strengthen the possibilities of a bright future for the state. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the state level program organized at the Academy of Administration to transfer an amount of Rs 224 crore to 89 thousand 710 brilliant students of the state to buy laptops. He transferred the amount to the accounts of the students with a single click. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav told the students that the amount of Rs 25,000 each being made available to them should be used only for purchasing laptops. Students may take the laptop as per their choice, from the place of their choice and must submit the receipt of purchase of the laptop to their school.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp and garlanding the statue of Maa Saraswati. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was welcomed by presenting a plant. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav interacted with the students and also encouraged them with his speech. On this occasion, School Education Minister Mr. Uday Pratap Singh, Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Mr. Vishwas Sarang, Bhopal in-charge and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Minister Mr. Chaitanya Kumar Kashyap, Minister of State for Backward Classes and Minority Welfare Mrs. Krishna Gaur, Bhopal Mayor Mrs. Malti Rai, MLA Mr. Rameshwar Sharma, Mr. Ravindra Yati along with public representatives, officers, students and parents were present.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the Gurukul tradition prevalent in India was free from caste and class discrimination. Everyone was prepared to face the challenges of the future by giving them equal rights for all the systems and by polishing their talents. The laptops being provided today will help the students in acquiring knowledge and skill development using study technology. Students will develop confidence to move ahead and innovate. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav greeted Prime Minister Shri Modi for this initiative and said that all this is becoming possible only as a result of his thinking. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, citing the example of Israel, said that it is necessary to keep up with the latest technology in the present circumstances to face the challenges around us. It is important to be technically proficient for the protection of the interests of our country and the welfare of the people.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that India is the largest and best democracy in the world. This democratic republic has been established as a result of a long struggle. Prithviraj Chauhan, Maharana Pratap, Chhatrapati Shivaji, Chandrashekhar Azad, Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose have made a significant contribution in nation building. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the life of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose tells that it is important to be a patriot along with being intelligent. Netaji established the dominance of Indian talent in the entire world with his intelligence and increased the self-confidence of Indians. Along with their intelligence, talent, students should also keep in mind the challenges and needs of the country and move forward on the path of their duty with patriotism.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, while referring to the shloka ‘Kaak cheshta, bako dhyaanam, swan nidra tathaiva cha. Alphari, griha tyaagi vidhyarthi panch lakshanam’, which shows the five qualities of students, said that qualities like strong will, focus on the goal, alertness, vigour and dedication towards the objective without attachment should be there in students as well as people from all professions including public representatives and officers. Motivating the students, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Prime Minister Shri Modi is the ideal of this, following him, everyone should make good use of time and work dedicatedly for the progress of themselves, their family, society and country.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav interacted with talented students and encouraged them. He interacted with Miss Geeta Lodhi of Narsinghpur, Prashant Rajput of Bhopal, Miss Sneha Tyagi of Morena, Jayant Yadav of Rajgarh, Miss Monika Sahu of Damoh Hata, Miss Eliha Naz of Seoni, Miss Jyoti Prajapati of Rajgarh, Pushpendra Rajput of Bhopal. Students also took group photos with Chief Minister Dr. Yadav.
School Education Minister Shri Uday Pratap Singh said that for Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, education is among the top priorities of the state government, which shows his sensitivity. On his instructions, after e-scooty, now laptops are being provided to talented students. Students have achieved this feat with hard work. It is a matter of pride that among those receiving laptops, the number of students from government schools is more than that of private schools, and the number of girls is also more than that of boys. Minister Shri Vishwas Sarang said that school education has an important role in building society and determining the future of the country. Students will get laptops which will make their future education easier, they will be able to move forward in the direction of skill development along with updated technology. Secretary School Education Shri Sanjay Goyal gave information about the outline of the program.
An amount of Rs 25,000 each has been transferred to the bank accounts of the meritorious students who have passed class 12 with 75% or more marks in the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education examination in the year 2023-24 to buy laptops. These students are currently studying in higher education institutes.
