Providing employment to the needy is the top priority of the state government: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that providing employment to the needy is the top priority of the state government. Therefore, make an action plan for providing employment by including all sectors including tourism, forest, minerals, industry and service sector. The action plan should be such that the needy people from every sector get employment, prepare it district wise. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was reviewing the development works in the divisional review meeting held in Gwalior. He also reviewed the law and order situation of the division in the meeting. Union Civil Aviation and Steel Minister Shri Jyotiraditya Scindia was also present in the meeting.

In the meeting, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that there is immense potential for tourism in Gwalior region. The fort and other historical buildings, reservoirs and immense forest wealth are available here. Therefore, prepare an employment-oriented plan to promote tourism.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that there are many capable people present in every district who can set up enterprises with a little encouragement and government help. He instructed to communicate with capable people and motivate them to create employment opportunities and set up enterprises. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav stressed on organizing employment fair on a large scale at the divisional level.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said in the meeting that on the lines of Hukumchand Mill of Indore, the government will also ensure payment of rights of JC Mill workers. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav and Union Minister Shri Scindia instructed the Gwalior Collector to submit an action plan as soon as possible for quick resolution of the problems of the workers.

Union Minister Shri Jyotiraditya Scindia said that information about development works should also be given to public representatives. He also stressed on making Gwalior city top in cleanliness and strengthening the traffic system of the city.

In the meeting, Social Justice and Disabled Welfare Minister and Horticulture and Food Processing Minister Shri Narayan Singh Kushwaha, Energy Minister Shri Pradyuman Singh Tomar, MP Gwalior Shri Vivek Narayan Shejwalkar, MP Guna Shri KP Singh Yadav and MP Bhind Mrs. Sandhya Rai, Mayor Dr. Shobha Satish Sikarwar and MLAs of Gwalior division were present. Also connected online with State Chief Secretary Mrs. Veera Rana and Special Director General of Police Mr. GP Singh Bhopal.

Together we will develop the state

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav told the public representatives present in the meeting that together we will take the state to greater heights in development. Difference of opinion will not be allowed to come in the way of development work. The government will rise above party sentiments and respect everyone’s suggestions and good suggestions will also be implemented. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav directed to organize a meeting of Additional Chief Secretary with all the MPs and MLAs of Gwalior division and other public representatives. Also said that all public representatives must give their suggestions in writing, so that they can be implemented. He also asked for suggestions for increasing rail services including new railway lines. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav called upon the public representatives to move the state forward faster on the path of progress. He said that with this objective in mind, he himself is trying to know the regional difficulties and problems by holding meetings in all the divisions.

Bring the approved works to ground, there should be no laxity in this

In the review meeting, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav instructed all the concerned officers to complete the incomplete works as part of a campaign which has been approved by the state government. Also, the works which have not been started should be brought to the ground as soon as possible. Any kind of laxity in this will not be tolerated.

Villages connected to the National Highway should have mandatory connectivity.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav directed in the meeting that the villages situated near the National Highways should compulsorily get connectivity with the National Highways. Also, pay special attention to the national highways which are under construction and connect the concerned villages to the main road.

Complete the work of Jal Jeevan Mission as a campaign

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the works of Jal Jeevan Mission should be completed by running a special campaign. He said that the work which has been done till 80 percent should be completed. Also, start the works which have not been started and make alternative arrangements for drinking water in such areas. There should not be any problem of drinking water anywhere in the upcoming summer season.

Reserve land for police stations and outposts and other purposes.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said in the meeting that land must be reserved for police stations, posts and battalions and other police purposes near the National Highway and other routes. This work should be given special priority.

The ban is not on the sale of meat and fish but on the method of selling it in the open.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav reiterated in the meeting that there is no ban on the sale of meat and fish, there is definitely a ban on the wrong way of selling. He said that keeping in mind the safety of people’s health and environment, the sale of meat, fish etc. in the open has been banned. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the government will provide concrete platforms for those selling meat and fish. Also, alternative places will be made available for their sale.
