Proud return of becoming a 7 star city: Raipur team will return to the capital tonight after the cleanliness award

Raipur – In the National Swachh Survey 2024-25, Raipur city got fourth place in the national ranking in the Million Plus Cities category of cities with a population of more than 10 lakh. In this, Raipur city got 11996 points as per the prescribed standards. Raipur city became the first 7 star city of Chhattisgarh state. On this achievement and pride of Raipur city, in the dignified presence of President of the Republic of India Draupadi Murmu, in Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi, on behalf of Raipur Municipal Corporation, in the special presence of Union Urban Affairs Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and Union Minister of State for Urban Affairs Tokhan Sahu, under the leadership of Deputy Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh State, Urban Administration and Development Minister Arun Saw, Corporation Chairman Suryakant Rathore, Corporation Health Department Chairman Gayatri Sunil Chandrakar, Commissioner Vishwadeep along with Additional Commissioners of Municipal Corporation Raipur Devy Rajendra Gupta and Vinod Pandey, Nodal Officer of Swachh Bharat Mission Executive Engineer Raghumani Pradhan, Assistant Nodal Officer Assistant Engineer Yogesh Kadu, after receiving the award for the city of Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh State, in the presence of Raipur Municipal Corporation Chairman Suryakant Rathore along with Additional Commissioners of Municipal Corporation Devy Rajendra Gupta, Vinod Pandey, Swachh Bharat Mission Nodal Officer EE Raghumani Pradhan, Assistant Nodal Officer AE Yogesh Kadu, Expert Prameet Chopra and Suraj Chandrakar will return to Mana Airport by plane today, 18 July 2025, Friday at 9 pm.
