Prosperity of farmers is the priority of our government: Minister Dayal Das Baghel

Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Minister Dayal Baghel attended the Bhoomi Pujan program organized in village Badnara under Navagarh development block of Bemetara district on Wednesday. On this occasion, he performed Bhoomi Pujan for development works worth Rs 2.36 crore for cementing of the phad in the nearby procurement centers including the dispensary in village Badnara.
Minister Mr. Baghel, while addressing the Bhoomi Pujan program, said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, our government is working by giving priority to the farmers. He said that fulfilling the guarantee of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, it is constantly working towards taking the state forward by taking better policy decisions in the interest of the farmers, poor, women and youth of the state. He said that the state government has fulfilled the promise of purchasing 21 quintals of paddy per acre from the farmers at the rate of Rs 3100 under the Support Price and Agriculture Unnati Yojana. At the same time, about 70 lakh women of the state are being transferred Rs 1000 per month in their accounts under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana. He said that as soon as Shri Vishnu Dev Sai became the Chief Minister, he got 18 lakh Pradhan Mantri Awas approved for homeless families.
Minister Shri Baghel said that the works for which Bhoomi Pujan was done include Rs 16 lakh for Ayurvedic dispensary Badnara and Rs 20 lakh for phad cementation in Seva Sahakari Samiti Badnara. Similarly, Minister Shri Baghel also performed Bhoomi Pujan for phad cementation work worth Rs 20 lakh each in Seva Sahakari Samiti Sambalpur, Kuwara, Putpura, Godhikala, Bundela, Boratra, Jhal, Ranbod, Nevsa and Majgaon.
