Presidential Election: Kamala Harris filed nomination for US President

US Vice President Kamala Harris filed nomination for the presidential candidacy in the general election to be held in November. Former President Barack Obama and his wife supported her as the presidential candidate for the Democratic Party, saying that their friend would be a great President of America.

Obama wrote on ‘X’ about Harris, “At this critical moment we will do everything to ensure that she wins the election in November. We hope you will join us.” Harris thanked Barack and Michelle for their support and said that your support means a lot.

The Vice President wrote on X, “Today I signed the form officially announcing my candidacy for the US President.” Harris pledged to work hard to get every vote and said that our people-powered election campaign will win. Harris’s husband Douglas Emhoff commented on this and said, it’s time to get to work, this is all we can do at this time.
