This not only caused problems to the departments but also caused many difficulties to the job seekers. To overcome this confusion, the government has decided to make an ‘Ideal Recruitment Manual’. With this manual, the recruitment process in all departments will be the same, which will make it easier for the job seekers and the recruitment process will also be faster. This will simplify and speed up the process of about two and a half lakh recruitments to be held in the coming time. The General Administration Department (GAD) is overseeing this work and suggestions have been sought from all departments so that the needs of all can be kept in mind. This is a big step that will ensure transparency and equal opportunity.
Why are uniform rules necessary?- Many problems arise due to different rules. For example, the rules for recruitment in the Forest Department, Education Department and Municipal Corporation are different. Due to this, Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) and the Staff Selection Board have to issue separate advertisements for each department, which leads to waste of time and resources. Large scale recruitments are going to be done in the coming two-three years, so the government wants that there should be no hindrance due to the rules. Having uniform rules will make it easier for the Commission and the Selection Board to work and recruitments will also be completed quickly. Job seekers will also not have to wait long. This change will prove to be a sigh of relief for job seekers.
Committee of retired officers will investigate- The government has formed an expert committee of retired officers to make new rules. This committee will examine the existing rules of all departments and prepare a report. New rules will be made on the basis of this report. It will be taken care of that no class or department is harmed. All aspects like age limit, reservation, reservation for women, qualification and probation period will be considered. This will bring transparency in the recruitment process and everyone will get equal opportunity. This committee will ensure fair and comprehensive review.
