The last date to register for the second phase of the Pradhan Mantri Internship Scheme is 15 April 2025. If you have not been able to apply yet, then this is your last chance. Under this scheme, 1 lakh youth will get the opportunity of paid internship in the top 500 companies of the country.
Importance of the scheme – This scheme has been launched by the central government for the youth, with the aim of providing them professional experience. Selected candidates will get an internship opportunity for a period of 12 months, in which they will be given a stipend of Rs 5,000 per month. Out of this, Rs 4,500 will be given by the central government and Rs 500 by the companies from their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) fund.

Eligibility Criteria – There are some eligibility criteria to participate in this scheme .The minimum age of the candidate should be 21 years and maximum age 24 years. The candidate should not be engaged in full-time job or education. Students pursuing online and distance studies can also apply for this internship.
