People think that curd is cold. That is why it is eaten a lot in summer. But according to Vaidya Sanatan Mishra, the nature of curd is hot. Curd contains calcium, protein and probiotics which help in giving strength and keeping away from disease.

According to Ashtang Hridya, this food item is heavy to digest. It takes a long time to digest in the stomach, it should not be eaten too much. Whenever you eat sprouts, add enough spices to it and consume it. Spices help in digesting food. If you do not do this, then stomach related problems can occur.

Ayurvedic experts have described potatoes as the most inferior tuber, that is, it is the worst among the foods grown inside the ground. It should be eaten very little. In Ayurveda, it is described as sweet and heavy to digest, so it is fun to eat. If you have to eat potatoes, then eat them by adding spices.
