Police and security forces achieved major success against Maoists in Abujhmad area – Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma
Raipur, November 16, 2024: During a joint search operation of police and security forces in Abujhmad area of North Bastar today, taking major action against the Maoists, the soldiers fought bravely and killed 5 Maoists. A large quantity of weapons and ammunition have also been recovered in this operation. During the encounter, 2 soldiers were injured, whose condition is now said to be normal and out of danger. All necessary arrangements are being made for better treatment of both the soldiers.
On this achievement, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma said that-
“Our soldiers are fighting bravely on the Naxal front. We are moving fast towards fulfilling the resolve to make Chhattisgarh Naxal-free.” The Deputy Chief Minister has praised the bravery of the injured soldiers while wishing them a speedy recovery. He congratulated all the security forces involved in this operation and praised their dedication.
