PM Modi will stay in VVIP suite of Raj Bhavan, dinner menu delivered from PMO

Raipur. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a two-day visit to Chhattisgarh. On Tuesday he will address the general meeting in Sakti and Dhamtari and tomorrow morning in Ambikapur. After the Dhamtari meeting, the Prime Minister will come to Raipur this evening. They will rest here at Raj Bhavan for the night. After becoming the Prime Minister, for the first time in 10 years, Modi will rest for the night in Chhattisgarh. Never got such an opportunity before. Since it’s all 3 o’clock in Dhamtari. And after that their meeting will be held in Ambikapur tomorrow at 9 am. So, instead of going back to Delhi from Dhamtari, the Prime Minister should consider it better to have a night halt in Raipur.

Raj Bhavan has been prepared for the Prime Minister’s stay. The VVIP suite has also been furnished. President Draupadi Murmu had stayed in this suite during her last stay. Apart from the Prime Minister, 10 rooms adjacent to the suite have been provided for his secretariat and other senior officers. The rest will stay in the circuit house.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will reach Raj Bhavan from Mana Airport via VIP Road, Phundhar, Expressway around 6.30 pm today. Since the code of conduct is in force for the Lok Sabha elections, he will not be welcome at the Raj Bhavan. They will get down from the car directly at the porch of the guest house of Raj Bhavan and go inside.

Dinner menu arrived from PMO
The menu for the Prime Minister’s dinner has reached Raj Bhavan from the PMO i.e. Prime Minister’s Office. The Prime Minister eats very simple food at night. Dal, roti, a vegetable and some salad. A similar menu has come from the PMO. Even their dinner will not be with any frills. It is learned that Raj Bhavan had requested him for dinner. But no response came from PMO. It is understood that now he will have dinner alone. The Prime Minister has a meeting with Governor Vishwabhushan Harichandan at night. During that time, if the Governor requests the Prime Minister and he agrees, then the Governor can also attend the dinner. However, before this the Prime Minister has stayed in Raj Bhavans of other states during elections and dined there alone.
