Petrol and Diesel Price Update December 2: the cheapest petrol in India is available in Port Blair, where it costs ₹82.46 per liter, and diesel is priced at ₹78.05 per liter. In contrast, in Delhi, petrol is priced at ₹94.77 and diesel at ₹87.67 per liter. Oil marketing companies have updated the petrol and diesel prices. Today, December 2, Port Blair offers the lowest petrol prices in the country, with diesel also being cheaper compared to other cities. This means that there has been no change in petrol and diesel prices today. On the other hand, crude oil prices are on the rise. As of around 6:29 AM, Brent crude for February delivery was trading at $72.04, up by 0.28%, while WTI crude for January delivery increased by 0.31% to $68.21. Due to the festive season, there has been a surge in petrol and diesel consumption in India during November. The three state-owned companies that control 90% of the fuel market reported an 8.3% increase in petrol sales, reaching 3.1 million tons, compared to 2.86 million tons in the same month last year. Diesel demand also rose by 5.9%, totaling 7.2 million tons.
